Container Exchange (COEX) is a relatively new and evolving organisation committed to helping Queenslanders make a positive impact for themselves, their communities and the environment! After a record-breaking summer which saw the company reach a major milestone of 6 billion contains processed across their network, COEX is poised for further expansion and even bigger impact across Queensland. 
  
COEX are seeking to hire an experienced EA to support their newly appointed CEO lead the “Containers for Change” scheme and the company on the next stages of their journey. This role represents more than just a job – it requires true passion, commitment for excellence and a genuine desire to deliver exceptional outcomes! Success requires high levels of motivation, drive to go above and beyond, and demonstrated ability to support the CEO to deliver real change.

About the Role
  
No two days will be the same, however some of the following “day in the life” tasks may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Delivering exceptional levels of professional support to the CEO;
  • Extensive diary management including scheduling appointments, Board and management meetings and other events as required;
  • Drafting, researching, reviewing and compiling reports and general correspondence;
  • Overseeing internal administrative and office support teams;
  • Arranging all travel, accommodation, car hire and associated tasks;
  • Pre-empting, prioritising and responding to all communication (email, phone calls, other) as required;
  • Professionally liaising with the Board, ELT, Stakeholder Groups and ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times; and
  • Providing other ad hoc day to day and project support to the Executive Team and Board as requested.

About you

  • Extensive high level EA experience.
  • A motivated self-starter that can operate independently with demonstrated experience supporting Executives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Expertise in prioritising, multi-tasking, meeting tight deadlines, adapting to last-minute changes and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively always and deliver a positive ‘no’.
  • Someone who is both humble and has a sense of humour.
  • High levels of trust, discretion, integrity, and judgement.
  • Outstanding planning and organisational skills
  • Outcomes orientated and results driven.
  • Great communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to be clear, concise, and succinct.
  • A great problem solver.
