The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an ongoing Senior HRBusiness Partner to be part of our Corporate Division within theDepartment of Primary Industries and Regions.

The primary purpose of the role is to establish businesspartnerships with one or more PIRSA Divisions to provide proactiveand strategic human resource services that facilitate theDivision’s business. The Senior HR Business Partnermaintains a thorough understanding of the Division, its objectivesand priorities, and its workforce; and provides coaching, insightand advice to divisional leaders and managers on workforcemanagement, workforce planning, performance enhancement andinnovative HR solutions to deliver on business objectives withinlegislative and policy requirements. The Senior HR Business Partnerwill collaborate across the People and Culture program and lead theimplementation of initiatives related to talent acquisition anddevelopment, diversity and inclusion, employee relations incollaboration with the IR Team and culture change strategies acrossPIRSA’s divisions.

The role contributes to delivering Divisional directives throughfacilitating workforce management requirements and CorporateServices objectives to provide consistent and quality advice andsupport services to Divisions and ensure compliance withlegislative requirements.

  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework.   • Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).

  • Requirements

  • Possession of a current driver’s licence and willingness to drive is required
  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel will be required
  • You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations
  • Desirable:  A degree in Human Resource Management, business management or psychology or post graduate studies in leadership or business management are considered highly desirable.

    $104,938 – $113,435 per annum
