Job Description

Our People & Culture team is on a mission to find a driven and forward-thinking HR Business Partner to collaboratively support an array of internal teams, with specific focus on our Retail and Warehouse network, by enabling our leadership teams to champion our high-performance culture and ensuring our Sound Body Sound Mind ethos and values lead the way.  

So, what goes in to making that happen? 

  • Partnering with people leaders and colleagues to support all facets of the employee lifecycle including employee development, performance management, dispute resolution, and interpretation of industrial instruments, reward, and recognition and employee engagement 
  • Employee and labour relations and communications, including first point of contact for employment related queries  
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees ensuring regulatory compliance and partnering with legal as needed/required 
  • Constructive coaching of leadership teams, on a diverse range of strategic and operational people and culture issues and in line with our values and high-performance culture, building a team of accountable leaders who can deliver the business goals through their people 
  • Drive ASICS’ EVP and Sound Mind Sound Body ethos, ensuring these principles are promoted in all people activities 
  • Champion our employee engagement and DE&I initiatives  
  • Act as the designated Return to Work Coordinator, facilitating return to work-plans with our employee experience and needs of the business in mind  
  • Ensure compliance with employer obligations under relevant legislation 
  • Contribute to the Workplace Health and Safety Committee 
  • System administration pretraining to our HRIS, Payroll and ATS platforms 
  • Conducting onboarding and offboarding procedures 
  • Support relocation services (domestic and international) 
  • Reporting and analysis of business trends and people related KPIs

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in human resources  
  • Ability to develop strong, collaborative and mutually trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders  
  • Driven and proactive individual who is capable of managing their workload in a fast-paced and agile environment 
  • Hands on, self-motivated, well organised with the ability to work autonomously  
  • A focus on innovation and continuous improvement for both you and the business  
  • Operates strategically to drive the people and culture agenda in alignment with department, regional and global goals
