About the role
The Trading Technology Team leader is responsible for delivering business benefit through the operation and uplift of our Trading Technology platform. The role will lead the Trading Technology team, including ongoing people development, capability enhancement and services provision to business teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build, coach, develop and lead the Trading Technology team, with a focus on business value and outcomes.
• Report on the teams’ performance, challenges and roadmap to the Data and Digital Manager and project steering committees.
• Assist and guide the team with software development and support issues.
• Identify operational impacts and resourcing needs from new and amended solutions and apply plans to support strong change management.
• Assist with providing input and critique to Applications Development environments, including future direction.

About you
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related discipline and a minimum 4 years working with Agile methodologies.
Other skills and experience required include:

• Proven team leadership experience, including talent development, performance management and planning.
• Strong customer focus and management of client expectations aligned with task prioritisation; ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in IT’s knowledge of and concern for users’ business needs.
• Demonstrated background developing solutions using Microsoft technology set.

  2. Visual Studio 2015 and above
  3. Oracle 11g and above
  4. SQL Server 2008 R2 and above
  5. Azure development tools
• Demonstrated experience working with projects, architects and senior technical people to align operational and project-based work and solutions.
• Proven experience in agile delivery methodology/tools and project execution.
