The client
Our client is a government organisation based in the south-eastern suburbs currently undertaking a significant technology transformation.

The role
They have an exciting opportunity available for a Junior Developer to join a small team specializing in business process automation/BPM. This is a role where you can continue to build on your previous software development experience in JavaScript/PHP/MySQL while building your skills and specialization using BPM products such as ProcessMaker.

• 6 month contracting role with potential to convert to a much longer fixed-term permanent role
• South-eastern suburbs location, with hybrid work-from-home
• hourly rate of up to $61+ super on offer

About you
The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a developer in a professional/commercial environment (approx. 1 to 2 years minimum)
• Excellent technical capabilities including Front-End development knowledge (JavaScript, jQuery, VueJS, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML)
• Advanced knowledge in PHP, with Laravel skills highly desirable
• SQL skills for both MSSQL & MYSQL
• Server skills with Linux, Apache, NGINX
• Knowledge and experience with Web Service API (REST / SOAP)
• Any previous experience in process automation or BPM with tools such as ProcessMaker will be highly regarded
• Exceptional communication skills, and ability to learn new skills and concepts
