As a Workforce Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance on a range of Worker Screening, Right to Work and License to Operate people management activities across all UnitingCare Business Units.

You will lead a team of four Advisors, driving established and newly identified change activities, whilst continuing to embed strong working practices for our Workforce Compliance Team and organisation, working closely with key stakeholders across all business units.

Please note, this is a 12 month, maximum term contract opportunity with the potential for extension, where hybrid working is encouraged.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:

  • Lead a small team in their day-to-day delivery in answering and processing all workforce compliance related data and information requirements and enquiries.
  • Provide advice to key stakeholders and support teams from across UnitingCare relating to Criminal History Screening, NDIS Workers Screening, and Blue Card related requirements.
  • Interpret legislative and regulatory changes to worker screening practices to support the business units and support functions in designing and embedding appropriate change strategies.
  • Drive ongoing compliance across the business units to ensure services are meeting their license to operate requirements.
  • Participate in audit related activities with business units, leveraging internal relationships within P&C to obtain appropriate data and advice as required.

What makes a difference for us?

  • Previous experience in a similar role providing compliance/HR advice to employees or leaders.
  • A strong understanding and experience in applying legislative instruments relating to Aged Care and NDIS services.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and delegate workloads as required.
  • Experience leading a small team and/or experience working closely with leadership teams would be beneficial.
