Marketing Specialist

Sarina Russo Job Access (Australia) Pty Ltd currently have a full time position to join our James Cook University Brisbane (JCUB) International Marketing team as a Marketing Specialists based in Brisbane CBD where you will be responsible in dealing with onshore and offshore international enrolment targets (Predominantly the Americas).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Representing the University at recruitment events, international education fora and with sponsoring bodies and government departments.
• Raising the profile of JCUB as a preferred destination to increase the intake of high-quality international students across a diverse range of programs.
• Maintain a strong liaison role with international institutional partners and recruiting agents within the specified geographical region
• Promote recruitment opportunities, including online campaigns, travel dates and events, related activities, costs and targets to maximise penetration within each target market.
• Systematically gather, disseminate and utilise qualitative and quantitative market intelligence to monitor country, agent and channel performance, identifying trends and solutions early in the recruitment cycle.

To be considered for employment and to be successful in this role at our, you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role with a demonstrated record in international student recruitment. (Ideally within the South America market)
• Post graduate qualification (or currently completing) in marketing, communications or business with extensive experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop a range of marketing and communication strategies.
• Experience dealing with print, digital media, event planning and social media, including identifying and capitalising on emerging social media opportunities.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to assist with interpersonal communications to both internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and the “International Community”
