Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Sales Executive to join our Sydney team.  You will identify, lead and increase additional pop up and sundry income opportunities across the Retail portfolio that drive sales and deliver outstanding asset returns. To ensure the highest presentation standards are consistently maintained, delivering exceptional initiatives and rewarding experiences to our partners, customers and communities in which we operate

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively growing revenue-based opportunities and sourcing new business and high-quality commercial partners
  • Managing and growing new and existing national partnership accounts at asset and portfolio level
  • Actively working with the Real Estate Operation team to deliver on revenue producing partnerships and experiences generating community events and special promotions
  • Continuously reviewing and refining each asset’s Partnership strategy to ensure budget achievement and overall vision for the asset is attained
  • Work with the Partnership centre custodians to incorporate centre budgets and targets, ensuring all activations align with the Strategic Asset Plan
  • Develop portfolio opportunities with the Retail Sales Manager, Media & Partnerships, delivering national branded commercial outcomes
  • Build rapport with Mirvac teams, key local community groups and authorities, and customers, and attending meetings as required
  • Continuously seeking innovative ways to source and deliver new retail and partnerships that will enhance the product mix and
  • experience at each asset
  • Dealing with issues promptly and efficiently, and ensuring both the asset and pop up retailers are meeting the conditions stipulated under the lease/ license agreement
  • Reviewing market data and trends and adjusting asset strategy to deliver favorable financial outcomes
  • Managing and maintaining the accuracy of information on each asset’s collateral
  • Developing and delivering improvements and maximizing efficiencies of the Partnership procedures and documentation process
  • Monitoring, reforecasting, and prudent financial management to meet or exceed budget targets across the portfolio
  • Proactively engaging with industry bodies, and emerging retail industry concepts and trends, unlocking new business opportunities
  • Providing accurate and timely financial property reporting and analysis for each asset
  • Supporting and delivering strategic recommendations to the centre and national marketing teams that drive financial
  • outcomes
  • Seeking innovative ways to lease vacant shops and drive sundry income, that are relevant to the customer experience
  • Continuously reviewing and refining each Centre’s Pop Up strategy alongside the Asset / Centre Manager Retail to ensure budget achievement and overall vision for the centre is achieved
  • Working collaboratively with the Brand & Experience Manager and the National Marketing team to deliver a calendar of experiences and curated events across the portfolio
  • Being aware of asset research, trade area developments, and retail trends (competitor, internal and external) and communicating actions and outcomes
  • The ownership and management of administration processes, documentation, and associated data integrity across all systems
  • Positively promoting Partnership opportunities and communicating team wins and success stories
  • Assisting with any projects, or undertaking additional duties as reasonably required.

Your Point of Difference

You will have extensive sales leadership experience with the ability to think, drive and grow new revenue.

Entrepreneurial and curious mindset with a keen interest in accelerating business outcomes as well as experience in building a strong external network and relationships.

Strong commercial/financial acumen with experience in the preparation of strategy, business case, feasibility, and financial models is advantageous along with excellent decision making and presentation skills.

Finally, you consistently hit and exceed KPIs and revenue targets and have the ability to adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexity.
