A fantastic opportunity is available for an energetic, highly organised and hands on full-time/part-time Retail Manager to drive the dynamic team at Melbourne Street Pharmacy.

Our inner suburban pharmacy on Melbourne Street services both the local community and medical specialists practicing in North Adelaide. We are recruiting a variety of positions to bring in some fresh ideas, reinvigorate and build the team for the future. 

Are you an experienced and motivated Retail Manager or perhaps an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to take the next step? Come and join our small team that is focused on delivering high quality health care and excellent customer service.  Our success comes from generating a rapport with customers which guarantees repeat business rather than pushing sales targets.

 This is a ‘hands on’ role combining front of store, stock control and supervisory duties.  We ideally need someone with demonstrated experience to:

• Model exceptional customer service
• Lead, develop and motivate staff
• Be organised, meet deadlines and have excellent attention to detail
• Manage staff rosters
• Allocate duties and supervise the staff
• Take responsibility for customer queries
• Manage stock control processes; Minfos POS an advantage

It is expected you will have gained your knowledge through a combination of accredited pharmacy training and on the job learning. Further on the job training will be provided where necessary. Participation in TerryWhite Chemmart education and networking events will be expected and facilitated.

Our Retail Managers set the bar when it comes to our customer’s experience in store.

In this leading role, not only will you be required to ensure that all merchandising, promotional and retail activity are maintained to TerryWhite Chemmart standards, but you will also take an active role in managing staff performance, monitoring wage costs, onboarding and training new team members, and managing rosters.

To be successful in this leading role, our ideal candidate will have significant retail experience, preferable within a pharmacy setting. You will have a passion for retail, a strong eye for merchandising and precise attention to detail.  To help motivate your team to success you will ideally have previous experience leading and contributing to a dynamic team.
