The Community Services team maintains a largepool of trained volunteers to deliver a range of services acrossthe community. Our Volunteer Services Team Leader is responsiblefor coordinating the City’s volunteer program, includingrecruitment, induction, training, and deployment of volunteers. TheCity is currently seeking a Volunteer Services Coordinator to jointhe team on a permanent, part-time basis.

Our ideal candidate will be an effectivecommunicator with great people skills and the ability to workcollaboratively with a range of stakeholders. Your managementskills will include budget and resource management and you must beexperienced in planning community-based services. You will alsorequire high level organisational skills to succeed as this roleco-ordinates several functions as well as undertaking a range oftasks in a busy environment.

  • In addition, to be considered for this role, you’llpossess the following skills and/or qualifications:

  • Diploma or higher qualifications in social sciences, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including conducting presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and document policies and procedures.
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate.
  • ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • This permanent part- time role is a level7 Inside Workforce Agreement position attracting a salary range of$89, – $93, pro rata per annum plus superannuation andfantastic benefits.
