The Practice
Our client is a leading Cardiologist located in stunning Hawthorn. With a growing patient base and an outstanding reputation for excellence in all that they do, 2023 has got off to a fabulous start and is expected to continue to flourish.  Led by a committed and supportive Practice Manager, it’s a great time to join this practice.

The Role
The Medical Secretary/Receptionist is a key position.  It’s ‘that’ position that holds the key to first impressions and sets the tone for positive patient interaction.  In a specialist practice there are a variety of duties, from meeting and greeting patients, managing consulting, liaising with Medicare and Health Funds.  There are patient records to enter and update, billing and receipting for consults, as well responding to patient enquiries and questions. 

About You
The successful applicant will have some experience within medical reception/administration.  This can be within another specialist practice, GP or Allied Health.  Importantly, you will enjoy interacting with people and understand that for many it’s a time of vulnerability, so empathy is a key attribute you bring to all your interactions with patients. It’s also important that you can follow process and that you take care to be accurate and display attention to detail.
