The area of Land-Based, Sport and Foundation Learning is a diverse area of BTC spanning across education for young people, adults, apprenticeships and Higher Education provision. The area also holds management responsibility for the running of several commercial enterprises such as the Golf Club, Rodway Farm, Equine Centre and Walled Gardens. The post holder will be engaged in ensuring efficient and effective administration processes are utilised to support the Area, working closely with the Executive Assistant and area admin team, located across each of the College’s campuses.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in providing an accurate, effective and efficient administrative service, has a positive attitude and can work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be confident in all forms of communication, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and able to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally to represent the College.

The postholder will be based at the Cannington Campus and utilise technology to maintain communication with the teams they are supporting, however, they will sometimes need to travel between campuses to provide individual support or to attend in person meetings, training, or events. Occasionally, there will also be the requirement to work additional hours for which time off in lieu will be given.
