This is your chance to step into a Financial Services industry – Specifically the Superannuation Domain which focuses on helping Australians securing their financial wellbeing.

You will perform triage, root cause analysis, debugging, and problem-solving across our Digital technology stack built on AWS cloud infrastructure. You will be delivering the best support possible to our clients by providing Level 3 line technical support of Digital technology services. 

You will make a difference by:

  • Owning and drive Digital technology incident & problem management activities
  • Collaborate and build relationships with a varied group of internal (technology and business) and external (3rd party and vendor) stakeholders to deliver resolution of technology incidents within agreed technology service level commitments
  • Actively contribute to service improvement activities and/or service & operations excellence across our application and AWS infrastructure stacks
  • Maintain a 24/7 production environment requiring rostered out of hours and weekend support
  • Undertake production system infrastructure patching activities, setting up and maintenance of existing monitoring to ensure our systems remain stable and compliant
  • Participating in disaster recovery and business continuity plan exercises
  • Contribute to operational acceptance/gatekeeper of business change into production
  • Understand and report on key metrics – incident, change, problem, and availability to drive operational improvement

A little bit about you

  • Strong communicator and self-driven who can navigate through a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of service management processes (ITIL)
  • Experienced with service management tooling – preferably ServiceNow
  • Experience in establishing and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, experience with Kubernetes, querying Splunk logs, Spring Boot application logs, APM tools like Dynatrace Kubernetes
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructures (AWS) e.g., AWS console and navigating AWS services such as EC2 Instances, Lambda functions, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, AMIs, Snapshots, etc
  • Experience working with SSL certificates, shell scripting, SQL queries, JIRA, navigating Linux servers
  • Demonstrated technical experience in AWS stacks, service management tooling and experience driving and resolving incidents in L3/L3 capacity
