Our client, a leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month contract basis with a high possibility of extension.

Purpose of the role:
Support the planning, development and delivery of campaigns and programs in collaboration with the broader Branding and Promotions team.

The Programs and Campaigns team works collaboratively with key business stakeholders to communicate the Employee value proposition (EVP), design and deliver innovative and focused recruitment programs and campaigns and deliver high-quality and targeted events to promote the department as the employer of choice.

Key accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and review campaign plans and strategies, adopting and implementing appropriate workflows to ensure work remains on target, within budget and meets agreed standards of delivery.
  • The Branding and Promotions team is responsible for promoting career opportunities for current and future employees across NSW and communicating the Employee value proposition (EVP) of the NSW Department.
  • Reporting to the Lead, Programs and Campaigns, this role will support the planning, development and delivery of campaigns and programs in collaboration with the broader Branding and Promotions team.
  • The Programs and Campaigns team works collaboratively with key business stakeholders to communicate the Employee value proposition (EVP), design and deliver innovative and focused recruitment programs and campaigns and deliver high-quality and targeted events to promote the department as the employer of choice.
  • Support and contribute to the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of communications related tools and content that applies to campaigns.
  • Support, encourage and mentor team members to achieve personal and team goals.
  • In consultation with the Lead, Programs and Campaigns, develop an annual work plan that articulates, clarifies and documents the role’s key deliverables and indicators of success over a 12-month period.

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • experience with Microsoft Office. Other systems that are ideal but not mandatory: Mailchimp, Adobe Experience Manager, Photoshop, Monday.com
  • Willingness and ability to undertake interstate and intrastate travel to meet delivery requirements of campaigns.
  • Gov experience is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

The candidate will drive the planning, development and delivery of a program that is relaunching in Q3 this year. Key accountabilities of this role will include end-to-end delivery of the program, project management, campaign planning and implementation and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
