Our Client – Scoot Boot is a manufacturer and global exporter of the most advanced horse (equine) hoof boot on the market. Hoof boots are a relatively new product and replace archaic metal shoes as a better way to protect horses hooves. 

As an e-commerce pure player, Scoot Boot was established in 2015 with the mission to offer better animal welfare, hoof protection and support to the barefoot horse by providing a superior range of products. They innovate, educate and inspire others in all that they do. 

After dynamic and massive growth both here in Australia and in international markets they now wish to take the brand and products to the next level. We are therefore seeking an energetic, dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our client’s small, professional and passionate team based in Cambridge, near Hobart, Tasmania. 

Scoot Boot is passionate about animal welfare. They love helping people with products

that allow their customers the freedom to go anywhere and do anything, keeping their horse safe along the way. Our Client is looking for someone who shares their passion and genuinely cares about the customer journey.

About the Role

As part of the management team and reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the execution of all aspects of the brand communication strategy, successfully driving growth in awareness, B2B and B2C acquisition and engagement through the delivery of consistent creative content and innovative campaigns. 

Your passion for and understanding of brand, digital marketing, through website, email, social and search channels will be a key asset as you work with our ecommerce specialists to scale up the business. 

Your role will be to:

  • Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy for Scoot Boot that aligns with the brands values and goals 

  • Coordinate and amplify marketing campaigns, content, and loyalty experiences 

  • Lead the development of a strategic marketing plan that includes paid digital strategy, creative, website, public relations, social media, brand collaborations, events & more 

  • Assist in increasing brand awareness, driving customer traffic, and growing all marketing channels 

  • Assist in the planning and development of an annual marketing calendar that aligns with our overall marketing strategy and objectives 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to ensure that all marketing activities align with the companys overall strategy and objectives 

  • Work closely with other departments such as product development and customer service to ensure that all marketing activities support the overall business goals 

  • Provide reports on campaign performance, summarising marketing efforts across all channels and their results. 

  • Utilise data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve overall marketing performance. 

  • Continuously generate fresh and creative ideas to engage with our online community 

  • Manage and motivate a team to work together towards achieving our vision and direction 

About you

You will have

  • The ability to understand and effectively target the global equine market through your campaigns and strategies 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including team members, company owners and external partners 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and quickly to find solutions to complex challenges 

  • Strong ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions that have resulted in successful business outcomes 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform marketing strategies and decisions 

  • Creative-driven mindset, passion for identifying and implementing innovative marketing strategies 

  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with unique and effective marketing solutions. 

  • Passion and understanding of brand, digital marketing, through website, email, social media channels

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline

  • Experience working for a global brand, and a good understanding of international markets

  • Experience building and growing a brand within new markets
