The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is looking for an experienced, efficient, and motivated person to join our Investigation Division to assist the ICAC to undertake its purpose to investigate, expose and minimise corruption in and affecting the NSW public sector.

Primary purpose of the position

The Investigator works within a multi-disciplinary team to lead investigations into allegations of corrupt conduct in performance of the Commission’s principal functions.

1. Significant experience investigating alleged serious offences, including fraud, and/or public sector misconduct.

2. A good knowledge of the criminal law, the rules of evidence and criminal procedures, an understanding of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988.

3. Well-developed planning and organisational abilities, problem solving and analytical skills and experience using investigative analytics software.

4. A very high level of written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse background, occupation, and seniority, both internal and external to the Commission.

Remuneration

Total remuneration package valued up to $145,445 pa (Salary $116,693 – $129,883 pa), incorporating an overtime allowance of 9.1%, employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
