Laboratory Technician

About the company:

The company is a renowned food & beverage manufacturer based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Due to substantial growth, this company is seeking a QA/QC Officer to join the quality team on an ongoing casual basis to start ASAP.

The company manufactures on a 24/7 basis, so candidates should be available to work 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekend (day 6am-6pm and night 6pm-6am).

About the role:

Reporting to the QA Manager, your responsibilities may include:

• QC checks along the manufacture line
• Batch release
• Basic wet chemistry analysis (titrations, pH)
• HPLC testing
• Data entry and result compilation
• Laboratory housekeeping

About you:

• Bachelor of Science, majoring in Food Science, Chemistry or related discipline
• Reliability and good work ethic
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Methodical, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply as full training will be provided!

Candidates must have their own car and license, as this role is not easily accessible via public transport.
