About the role

We have immediate need for an experienced Loader Operator with a background in road and rail construction, for the Morley-Ellenbrook Line Project in Malaga. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

The scope of work includes the delivery of:

  • 21km of new (Greenfields) Double Track
  • 5 new Stations integrated with parking and bus stations
  • Bridges and Viaducts with Rail over Rail, Rail over Road and Rail in Tunnels
  • Integrating the new line into the Perth Rail network joining at Bayswater Station, including an upgrade to the existing Bayswater Station, and a future station is planned at Bennett Springs East.

The Project activities include all investigation, design, approvals, construction, testing and commissioning. Entry into Service (EIS), training and operational readiness required to incorporate the new railway to Ellenbrook, and tie into the existing network including the associated road, utilities and other required works to interface with adjacent works and contracts.  This will include bulk earthworks and retaining, structures, grade separations, roads and drainage

About you

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Intermediate to advanced experience in a heavy construction role.
  • Minimum 5+ year history on Main Roads or PTA projects with civil earthworks.
  • Holds a WA Construction White card
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Additional operator tickets highly desireable
  • Valid HR Driver’s Licence
