  • Permanent part time [site in Trott Park (South)] from 40-45 hours/fortnight
  • Contribute to delivering engaging resident programs to make a difference in the lives of our customers
  • Who are we looking for?

    We are looking for Lifestyle Assistants with a creative flair who are passionate about delivering amazing lifestyle and wellness programs. Bringing great enthusiasm and energy, you will be someone who is self-motivated with great initiative and a creative mind. You will always be on the look out for new ways to optimise the independence, wellbeing and quality of life for our customers. This is a truly rewarding opportunity where you will make a genuine impact in the lives of customers and their families.

    Whether you have a background in leisure and lifestyle or you are completing towards a Certificate qualification in Leisure & Health, we would love to hear from you!

    What can you expect to be doing?

  • Optimise the independence, health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents by assisting with the development of wellness programs
  • Work with your team to ensure the changing needs of our customers are met, such as facilitating gardening groups, exercise classes and craft clubs.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance both social and cultural engagement
  • Act as a listening ear for our residents, their families and advocates
  • Connect with our residents on an individual level – it could be as simple as sharing some stories over a cup of tea!
  • What do you need to bring?

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or working towards) a qualification in Leisure, Lifestyle or similar
  • Some experience working in lifestyle is essential
  • Ability to meet the needs of customers and assist in the creation of lifestyle plans
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic Information Technology literacy for the purpose of activity engagement
