Kitchen Hand

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Hand to join our team on a casual basis. The hours available will be variable, with availability to work on weekends and public/school holidays.

The successful candidate will:

Following direction towards portion control, cooking standards and wastage.

Ensure all aspects of food preparation is according to company guidelines and customer preferences

Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implements

Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning

Receive, store and distribute goods & equipment.

About You:

Previous experience in a restaurant, or club kitchen

A working understanding of ‘Food Safety’ principles and workplace health and safety

Possess highly effective verbal communication skills

Outstanding customer service skills
