We have an exciting opportunity to join Mövenpick Hotel Hobart and are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to lead our F&B team!

Located in the heart of Hobart, this 221-room premium hotel offers an exceptional location, an exciting F&B concept and meeting facilities. The hotel will showcase the best of Tasmanian produce through ‘Tesoro” Modern Italian Restaurant, our conference rooms and our bar. Inspired by the concepts of sustainability and indulgence, hallmarks of this iconic hotel brand.

At Mövenpick Hotel Hobart we love food, wine, cocktails and, of course, a great cup of coffee! We are currently looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager who wants more than just a job… come, share your passion and start your journey with us!

As Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will join our leadership team and assist in the smooth operation of our F&B outlets. Your food and beverage knowledge is unrivalled. You are guest obsessed and have built your reputation on delivering exceptional experiences; leading from the front. With a focus on building a culture of intuitive service that creates special moments for all guests, you will be part of a F&B team that delivers exceptional bar service; a refined a la carte lunch, dinner and room service; as well as extraordinary breakfast and banqueting experiences.

The successful applicant will be…

  • A charismatic leader, inspiring the restaurant team to provide our patrons with a genuinely unforgettable dining experience. Your lead-by-example approach will be infectious.
  • Experienced with local market knowledge in the restaurant industry.
  • Highly organised and able to manage day-to-day operations across multiple food & beverage outlets.
  • Passionate about, and have expert knowledge of, the restaurant industry and/or hotel industry.
  • Committed to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
  • Organised and have excellent time management skills.
  • Detail focused with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality service.
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
