Job Description

Randstad is currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to join a Local Government Department located in Adelaide. This role requires someone with proven experience working with a high level of experience in a similar role.

About the role

We are currently seeking a Business Support Officer – in this role, you will be required to:

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism across all duties and responsibilities
  • Work in cooperation and collaboration with external service providers, program participants, community and volunteer groups
  • Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures and protocols to facilitate coordinated information from internal and external stakeholders with preparation of coordinated responses.
  • Source, retrieve and distribute information as required to the correct professional
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Skills and Experience

  • Previous or current demonstrated projects skills and experience
  • Advanced skills in word processing, Excel and Microsoft applications
  • Experience working independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in working with high volumes of work
  • High level skills in oral and written communication and able to deal with external and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to plan and manage workloads by setting priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, often in a context of competing priorities and expectations.
