Job Description

Talent International is currently recruiting for a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to work for a NSW Government based in Sydney . This position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and are paying $55-60 per hour plus super.

Working Hours – 8 Hours per day / 40 Hours per week

Description:

  • Deliver effective internal and external recruitment including sourcing for senior roles and large recruitment programs.
  • Develop business and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment of services with business needs.
  • Identify and implement effective business process improvements.
  • Provide end-to-end recruitment advice, including sourcing options, and service in an effective, timely, professional manner within agreed timeframes.
  • Contribute to the development of recruitment strategies, polices and procedures.
  • Effectively and sustainably utilise recruitment advertising channels including Seek and LinkedIn including enhancement of the online vacancy board on the organisation’s external website.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop collateral and processes to support the organisation’s employment brand.
  • Communicate and interpret policies and the enterprise agreement related to recruitment activity.
  • Measure and monitor progress by producing reports as requested highlighting areas of concern, providing analysis and recommendations where possible.
  • Establish and manage agency arrangements for recruitment of roles and ensuring the business receive the best value and candidates.
  • Maintain effective relations with vendors including agencies and pre-employment check providers to refine processes and ensure continuous improvement of services to the business.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be directed by your Manager, in line with the Work Level Standards for this role.
  • Essential Requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large volumes of roles, ideally within a medium to large organisation with a white and blue collar workforce.
  • Experience in applying and coaching others in behavioural based interview techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills with a deep interest in and understanding of others.
  • Strong planning and organisation ability to ensure successful delivery of outcomes within timeframe.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a flexible team player who thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills with experience in a variety of software packages, tools and general applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to recruitment and other systems such as Pageup, Onetest and SuccessFactors recruitment.
