Alstom have an opening for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team on a permanent basis located in the Wulkuraka/Milton, QLD office. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you will own the recruitment process from requisition approval to onboarding working closely hiring managers and key stakeholders to identify and source the best talent for trade positions delivering some of Australia’s largest rail infrastructure projects.

You will:

  • Work with the business to educate hiring managers on recruitment best practice.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with hiring managers to support them through the hiring process and become a trusted advisor.
  • Develop recruitment strategies using various sourcing techniques aligned to the requirements of each role.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval through to on-boarding.
  • Build talent pipelines for key roles.
  • Candidate database management & reporting 
  • Adhering to quality and compliance process
     

Requirements to succeed in this role:

  • Team player with a positive, can do attitude
  • Previous trade recruitment experience in an internal and/or agency environment 
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and process focused
  • Solid ATS skills (Taleo, Success Factors, PageUp or similar).
