Key Accountabilities

About the Role:

We are looking for a HR Business Partner or an experienced Advisor with the progression pathway available to transition into a HR Business Partner. You are passionate about HR and have the runs on the board to demonstrate that your passion translates into action. You are a problem solver; love a challenge and genuinely care about the people you work with. As you partner with leaders, you will be responsible for the generalist HR activities throughout your portfolio in NSW/VIC, including:

  • Full suite generalist HR support
  • Coach and assist managers in the NPE performance management processes
  • Be a trusted partner the Managers in the delivery of an effective, coordinated, responsive and stakeholder-centric HR partnering service
  • Build capability by providing coaching and support to Managers on the full suite of people related issues
  • Provide advice on HR organisational policies and procedures to all managers and employees
  • Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and forms in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Help create and foster a high performing workplace culture that attracts and retains talented employees, ensuring culture and value fit into the business
  • Talent Management (including end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and through the employee lifecycle)
  • Effectively communicate within the HR function to ensure consistency of high-quality service and support nationally
  • Action queries through the HR inbox efficiently by responding promptly to all enquiries relevant to the NSW/VIC region
  • Data entry and maintenance of employee records
  • Policy and process development, implementation and compliance
  • Support the coordination and delivery of initiatives and company recognition activities to build an inclusive and high-performance culture (including but not limited to ‘years of service’ certificates, internal newsletter and coordinating hamper deliveries where required
  • Occasional travel to VIC

Skills/ Selection Criteria (qualifications & experience)

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources (or significant relevant work experience)
  • Min 3 years in Human Resources (Ideally as a Generalist/Advisor or Business Partner)
  • Demonstrated experience in Performance Management/Disciplinary Matters
  • Recruitment Experience (Ideally blue and white collar)
  • Ability to travel as required
  • A strong team player with a can-do attitude
  • Proficient user of MS Office Packages including Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
