About the role:

As Delivery Lead – Regulatory Reporting, you will be a central coordinator of activity that seeks to ensure Alinta remains compliant in our provision of range of regulatory reporting requirements imposed by the various regulatory codes under which Alinta Retail Energy operates.

In this full-time, permanent role, you will partner with key stakeholders across Alinta’s Retail business to facilitate/govern all phases of regulatory report delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement, exceptional communication skills, and a structured, disciplined approach to delivery are essential for success in this role.

Duties: 

  • Design and implement delivery and governance frameworks to support the end-to-end delivery of Alinta’s regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Assess cyclical and ad hoc delivery requirements to prepare robust delivery plans, and closely manage execution to ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and present concise, factual updates for senior leadership to facilitate sign-off decisions.
  • Perform analysis on the regulatory reporting portfolio to identify trends, understand variances and inform required remediations or improvements.
  • Partner with Value Stream Managers, Product Owners, and delivery teams to uplift system capability in support of regulatory reporting requirements.

Skills and experience: 

  • Project Management or relevant delivery experience (Retail energy industry experience highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of program delivery and governance frameworks  
  • Prior experience in the Regulatory or Risk domain in a delivery / Program Management context will be highly regarded
  • Proficient in SQL to query and analyse data from various sources (highly regarded)
  • Advanced communication skillset with the ability to tailor presentation style, format and level of detail to the audience
