Junior Retail Team Member

About the role

Stratco is looking for bright and customer focused Junior Retail Team Members who possess a personality and smile to match, to work as part of our friendly team in our Mt Barker store. 

As an entry level role, we seek motivated candidates who will be willing to learn and have a passion for customer service. This is a perfect opportunity for recent graduates or school leavers that are looking to gain valuable work experience. We have the resources to train you to ensure your success!

The role will involve:

First point of contact with our customers either face to face or via telephone

Working across Checkout, Hardware and Garden departments

Cashier operations including cash handling 

Maintaining stock levels and general housekeeping activities

Participation in training and personal development sessions

Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies

The successful applicant will have:

A passion to deliver outstanding customer service!

Excellent communication skills, and a personable, approachable team player

Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet customers’ needs

Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Eye for detail particularly with administration and data entry

A desire and willingness to develop within the business

Applicants must be available to work most Saturdays and every second Friday.
