The Opportunity

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant (Client Monies) to join our team on an initial 8 month contract basis.

Joining as the Finance Assistant you will work as part of the Ashurst Service Central – Finance team to deliver a range of services to internal and external clients in relation to Finance Operations activities, with a focus on Trust & Controlled Monies.

Some of your main responsibilities in this role will include (but not limited to):

  • Provide support on all aspects of Trust and Controlled Monies processing and issues
  • Gain and maintain sound knowledge of Trust regulations
  • Ensure Ashurst Australia Trust policy is adhered to at all times, regardless of situation
  • Management of the Firm Signatories

About You

To be successful in this role you will have some or all of the following attributes:

  • Trust & Controlled Monies exposure essential
  • Knowledge of ANZ Transactive portal desirable
  • TAFE Certificate/Diploma in Accounting is an advantage
  • Legal exposure is an advantage
  • Billing and Ticketing systems knowledge desirable (Elite 3e, Cherwell and/or ServiceDesk Plus)
  • System testing experience
