Job Description

your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels of food preparation area and kitchen equipment
  • Meal and food preparation for patients as per recipe guide
  • Maintain food stock levels
  • Maintain regular daily temperatures of refrigerators and freezers as per food safety standards
  • Implement Food Safety Program
  • Liaise with management and facility staff
  • Lead, supervise, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service
  • Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia affiliated as a teaching hospital with Sydney and Macquarie Universities. With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds, the hospital has been designed to promote rehabilitation through our inpatient programs.

    Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cooking
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate (desirable)
  • Available for shifts over a 7-day roster including weekend work
  • Experience in hospital or hotel food service environment preferred
