Local Government authority based in the south eastern suburbs | Initially contracted until June 2023 & is likely to be extended | Supporting the People & Strategy team | $35 – $38 per hour + super

  • About the company:

    This busy Local Government authority based in the southeast suburbs are looking to engage a HR Administrator. This position is initially contracted until June 2023 but is likely to be extended beyond this. You will be working in the Learning, Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion function.
    You will be organising learning & training events for the internal staff member, researching policies for diversity & inclusion, and generally supporting the HR Team.
    This position is to start ASAP. The organisation offers a flexible hybrid model.

    Your key responsibilities include:

  • Accountability to schedule induction training and coordinate presenters
  • Obtain quotes for trainings and speakers for events and facility hire
  • Manage invoices and payments through authority
  • Room set up for training, events and meetings
  • Accountability for accurate and timely coordination of compliance and induction training
  • With input from the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion lead, accountable for supporting delivery of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs and initiatives, as well as the coordination of internal DEI networks, events and program workshops
  • Intranet updates for Strategy, Learning and Culture pages
  • Support the development and delivery of new systems, templates and processes where relevant
  • Any other administrative support the wider team require
  • You will have the following

  • Experience in an HR or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills & proven experience in this
  • Strong stakeholder engagement & commitment to customer service
  • Working knowledge and use of computers and software packages, including Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, the Internet or similar website management software
