Aim Higher

Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in the People and Culture function, touching on all facets of the employee lifecycle. Committed to delivering best practice and contemporary solutions, you will engage with the business to drive positive outcomes that align to AACOs strategic goals. You will receive development from a knowledgeable HR team and be the first point of contact for all HR queries providing a high level of service, through your strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Take the Reins

Working collaboratively with the broader People & Culture support team, you will brief and consult on the development of people solutions aligned to business needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing generalist HR support across the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding;
  • Monitoring and responding to HR email queries and provide timely and credible advice on HR policy and procedures;
  • Managing HR systems and processes, including maintenance of HRIS and SharePoint;
  • Preparing employee contracts and variations, maintaining confidential employee records, and managing the People & Culture policies and procedures matrix;
  • Facilitating onboarding activities and supporting the collection and preparation for internal & external reporting purposes;
  • Supporting systems, processes and procedures in service of relevant Industrial instruments and compliance to Fair Work Act obligations; and
  • Manage all reporting and metrics effectively.

    Your profile will include:

  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or similar role;
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge and experience across the employee life cycle;
  • Ability to provide timely and credible advice on HR policy and performance management;
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Sharepoint, and reporting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the People & Culture Team and key stakeholders; and
  • Ideally, you will be degree qualified in HR or other relevant field.
