About the Opportunity

The Human Resources Business Partner position reports to the Head of Human Resources Operations. This position plays a critical role in establishing and building relationships across the organisation to enable the provision of high-quality HR services to build capacity and challenge thinking, while keeping a strong people focus.The role will support and coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary issues and investigations. You will provide organisation-focused, compliant and practical interpretation of employment legislation, along with tailored and appropriate advice.

About you

We are seeking someone with:

Demonstrated experience of employee relations and change management to support and coach managers through performance management and investigations

Practical working knowledge of employment legislation, Award and Agreement interpretation

Experience supporting enterprise agreement negotiations

Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide data and strategic insights

Ability to grow management capability and confidence to enable effective people management

Essential:

Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, related discipline or demonstrated experience

National Police check

Valid Victorian Drivers licence
