The JB Hi-Fi New Zealand business comprises 14 stores and a growing online and commercial business. There is a significant opportunity to grow and expand the JB Hi-Fi business in New Zealand and, over the next three years, we will be investing in improving the JB Hi-Fi New Zealand customer offer, refreshing the store network, opening new stores and upgrading our online platform.

    The Role

    The Campaign Lead is responsible for developing and managing strong marketing relationships with suppliers by executing marketing campaigns to drive new and grow existing business. Your ability to understand and propose the best marketing strategy for each unique supplier is crucial to driving the sell through and growth outcomes for our stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery of multichannel promotional programs, campaigns and events that align with the buying teams and supplier strategy
  • Work closely with buyers to ensure the collection of funds for over and above supplier funded advertising
  • Analysis of campaign activity to discover learnings to implement in future activities
  • Provide strong performance reports back to suppliers, post campaign
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver campaigns
  • Manage paid search campaigns, including agency briefing, messaging, content creation and reporting
  • Work with internal teams to develop creative assets and content for digital channels
  • Collaborate with and educate internal teams to drive understanding of digital channels and how to maximise their effectiveness
  • Deliver agreed KPIs including reach, engagement, and conversion metrics
  • Review, recommend and implement new tools as required
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in digital marketing
  • Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications or Marketing desirable
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing
  • Previous experience in retail considered an advantage
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing for commercial, email marketing, Google marketing platforms & Google analytics is an advantage.
