Our Associate team forms a critical layer of our Sales Distribution Organisation. This team is an appointment setting team that is responsible for driving qualified opportunities to our national team of Mobile Brokers and Retail/Franchise Brokers.

Job Description

As Trainee Mortgage Broker, you will be responsible for handling both inbound and outbound enquires from potential Aussie customers that are new to the business and within our existing marketing ecosystem.

Aussie’s online platform and seamless digital experience means you will be speaking to customers nationally over the phone and with our “Flex First” policy, you have the choice of working from home, or amongst a vibrant team of hard-working salespeople.

What you will get to be part of

  • Generating qualified appointments for our national team of Mobile Brokers and Retail/Franchise Brokers via inbound and outbound customer inquiries
  • Identifying opportunities for Customers to refinance their existing loans and obtain financing for new purchases
  • Educating customers on our value proposition and aligning their wants and needs with our offering
  • Leveraging your relationship building and sales skills, encouraging customers to engage with the platform prior to appointment and gain commitment to the process.
  • Integrating best-in-class sales training (that’s our job!) with your ‘can do’, positive attitude to consistently achieve results
  • Regularly contributing with key internal stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Participating in professional and personal development programs designed to help you take ownership of your career growth.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate profile

  • Can work either in a full-time or part-time basis depending on your preference; for part-time Trainee Mortgage Brokers, minimum work requirement of 32 hrs. in a week or 4 days in a weekly basis.
  • Ideally suited to final year graduate students, recently graduated students, someone with background in sales, retail, and/or customer services, or new entrants to the industry.

When you’re ready and willing, we’ll work with you to identify growth opportunities and develop a plan to get you there, whether it’s in lending, leadership, or another area.
