Store Manager

My client is a well-established retailer of automotive parts and accessories for over 30 years. Located in North Geelong, they are seeking a customer service focussed individual, who has a drive for sales and management to fill the role of Store Manager. The lucky candidate will have a career long opportunity and join a successful team and help grow the business.

• Permanent Role
• $75K-$80K + Super + Bonus (Depending on experience)
• Monday – Friday 8am- 6pm & Saturday & Sunday 8:30am-5:30pm
• 5 day working week with regular weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

• This role will be responsible for driving the sales
• Be a team leader and mentor and motivate the sales team
• Motivating the sales team in achieving monthly and annual volume and profit targets.
• Coach and mentor team members toward best business practices
• Meet KPI’s
• Set daily/weekly takes for staff.
• Maintaining the store to a high level. 
• Oversee systems and processes to ensure customer service standards are met at all times
• Training staff.
• Maintaining a fun and enjoyable work environment. 
• Resolve customer problems.
• Able to work under pressure and manage conflict.

Skills & Experience

• We are seeking an industry experienced Sales Manager to oversee the performance of the sales team. 
• Whilst not essential, a passion for motor vehicles and knowledge of the automotive industry would be advantageous! 
• A successful career in previous retail management would also be looked upon favourably.
• The successful applicant will have a neat and tidy appearance and a happy disposition, along with a good work ethic.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in growing, developing and mentoring Team Members.
• Excellent written & verbal communication
• Driven individual with ability to learn and constantly adapt in high volume environments
• Customer Service focused
