About the role:

The Schools Key Account Manager role is to build, support and deepen business relationships with key accounts (schools & institutional customers) in their designated territory through regular contact with all relevant stakeholders and key influencers, in order to achieve sales and retention targets. This would be done by demonstrating, promoting and selling Pearson Australia’s range of solutions and providing face to face or virtual PD training sessions in accordance with key account needs.

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining successful client relationships with partner Primary schools

  • Proving product and PD support to partner secondary schools

  • Proactively and reactively liaising with key school contacts and teachers

  • Responding to school queries and issues in a timely manner, ensuring all school information is up-to-date in our CRM database

  • Strategic planning both internally and with partner schools

  • To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • A genuine interest in education, technology and learners

  • Digital skills including familiarity with Office products and mobile technologies.

  • A can do, positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow

  • Drivers Licence
