Liverpool Boys High School is a comprehensive boys school in the south west of Sydney. It has 515 students, 88% from a language background other than English representing nearly 60 cultural groups. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VET teacher training in Retail Services providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.

Capacity to organise and deliver a VET curriculum Framework.

Ability to integrate literacy, numeracy and technology into innovative classroom practice and differentiate for boys from a NESB low SES background.

Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively to build positive relationships with students, staff and community.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
