Job Description

Based in Toowong our St John’s Home for Men is a Residential facility that supports the lives of its residents to live in a comfortable home like environment.

We currently have the need for a casual Hospitality Support Services Worker to work predominantly in Cleaning and Laundry. Your willing nature and flexibility will see you excel in this rewarding role. At Anglicare Southern Queensland we strive to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and we acknowledge that we are privileged to be working in our residents’ homes. Our Hospitality workers pride themselves on the high level of service they provide. This role is to commence as casual, with further opportunities available in the future.

  • Experience in laundry services including washing, folding, sorting, and ironing advantageous
  • Experience in a commercial cleaning environment
  • Able to follow procedure and ensure the clients’ personal preferences are adhered to
  • A confident communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
  • Experience working within designated timeframes
  • An open and enthusiastic manner 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • National Police Certificate
  • Full Covid Vaccination evidence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
