Head Of Recruitment, Asia (hong Kong Or Singapore Based)

Macquarie Sydney, Sydney

Job Description

Play a key role in the ongoing growth and transformation of our recruitment function in Asia.

As the leader of the Recruitment function in Asia, you’ll be instrumental to the strategic direction and operational delivery as we seek to continue to attract the best talent.

This is a compelling time to join our team as we embark on various projects across HR that encompass recruitment, diversity, equity and inclusion, talent development, reward and data and people analytics.

Reporting to the Head of HR for Asia, you will partner with various stakeholders to evolve our talent attraction and hiring approach. Whilst being a hands-on leader, you will be a key facilitator in the identification and fulfilment of recruitment transformation initiatives in Asia.

Your key partner supplier relationship will be with our long established Global RPO provider as well as other local partners across Asia.  You will also be a key contributor to global strategic change across the function, including the creation of a more digitalised and advice-based recruitment experience for all our stakeholders, and will be energised by lifting the candidate experience and internal client satisfaction. Having an additional reporting line to the Global Head of Recruitment, you will collaborate closely with your peers in Europe, the Americas and Australia.

This is an incredibly varied and rewarding role where you will partner with senior business leaders and HR colleagues whilst building external relationships with recruitment suppliers and our sourcing channel account managers.

You will have expertise in building strategic plans for the identification and recruitment of junior talent through to the delivery of complex hires and executive searches across Asia, and our HR team and broader stakeholders will look to you for technical advice and current market insights.

You will collaborate closely with our HR Business Partners and our other specialist HR teams  to provide a holistic and integrated talent offering. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, often with competing priorities, so your planning skills, time management and detail focus will be critical.
