About the role
Reporting into the Marketing and Communications Director, this newly created Marketing Manager position will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that drive growth across all campaigns and areas of FightMND – most notably the Big Freeze. This role will work closely with FightMND’s major partners in Coles, Bunnings, the AFL, Channel 7 and the Herald Sun. You will:

  • Deliver strategies to drive growth across key marketing, fundraising and business areas;
  • Develop, manage and deliver integrated marketing plans for the Big Freeze including promotional activity, content creation and ambassador management;
  • Brief and liaise with relevant stakeholders, agencies and suppliers as required to ensure positive engagement and alignment on deliverables, reporting and deadlines;
  • Act as the ‘brand and reputation guardian’ ensuring consistent application of the FightMND brand across all internal and external activities; and
  • Evaluate performance of marketing campaigns and help identify opportunities and improvements.
  • About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar field preferred;
  • Background in FMCG, retail, consumer goods, sport or agency desirable;
  • 5 years+ marketing experience with a proven track record in managing successful campaigns;
  • Knowledge of digital channels and communications, including hands-on experience with email, website and social media platforms;
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship and project management skills; and
  • Knowledge and interest in AFL and/or sport is preferred.
