Due to internal promotion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Coordinator Supervisor to join our team.This role will support the Quality Manager in leading the site in Quality Systems and processes through the management of front-line teams to ensure testing and quality procedures are understood and executed correctly. The Central Laboratory Coordinator will also be responsible for the coordination of daily activities for the Laboratory Technicians.

Job Requirements

• Manage the Laboratory team; this will include training any new employees, continual coaching of existing employees, rostering, leave coverage, resource allocation, etc
• Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and that your team are appropriately utilising equipment
• Maintain and improve quality and HACCP standards
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business to ensure quality is maintained at all times

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Prior people management experience is essential
• Understanding of manufacturing or supply chain functions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Tertiary qualification in food science, technology, science or a related discipline is advantageous
