What will your typical day look like? 
Cyber risk is increasingly impacting every part of our economy and society. Threats are constantly evolving and the security solution landscape is becoming more complex. That’s why our work is more meaningful (and exciting) than ever. Always one step ahead, we support clients with being secure, vigilant and resilient through end-to-end advisory, implementation and managed services. We’re a team of strategists, architects, hackers, advisors, technologists, communicators and leaders that help clients address cyber threats and have confidence to build smarter, faster and more connected futures.  

Who will you be working with?  
As a worldwide leader in cyber strategy consulting and cyber intelligence, our cyber risk team is comprised of 4 main pillars: 

  1. Strategy & Governance: We help clients develop their cyber security strategies, processes and transform security capabilities  
  2. Identity & Data Protection: Through a wide range of specialised skills in risk, regulation and platform engineering, we help clients with advice and solutions to manage data privacy, integrate automated identify and access management capabilities and data protection 
  3. Secure Digital Solutions: We design and integrate industry leading security solutions across cloud, digital services and operational technology. This includes providing architecture services across a wide range of cyber capabilities and solutions  
  4. Detect & Respond: We monitor our client’s systems to detect threats and rigorously test their cyber defences. We also advise clients on establishing threat intelligence, security detection, monitoring and automated response capabilities. 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.  
We know that as a student, you may not necessarily have significant experience in cyber security, and that’s okay! We are seeking graduating students who: 

  • Have a true passion for helping organisations address the many dimensions of cyber risk   
  • Has likely majored in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or Business/ Commerce/Law with an interest in technology 
  • are quick to learn, naturally inquisitive and always up for a challenge 
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Works best collaboratively – you thrive when working in a team! 
  • Is proactive in driving your career forward – you might have entered a few hackathons, capture the flag competitions, maybe you have a side hustle or even taught yourself how to code! 
  • Is an Australian Citizen (please note: Australian Residents/ New Zealand Citizens or those on a visa cannot be considered for roles in Canberra)
