Integration (devops) Developer

About the Company

Our client is an Australian iconic brand who are going through one of Australia’s largest digital transformations. This agile organisation is looking for highly skilled senior Integration (DevOps) Engineers to work within an exciting project on an initial 6-12 month contract with scope for extension!

About the Role

This is Melbourne based contract opportunity where you will use the latest technologies and modern software development practices for designing and implementing platform engineering code for the API team.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain development tools and software architecture
• Review and maintain software engineering best practises
• Work with teams to define new + innovative technical solutions that supports your team and meets business objectives

To Be Considered:

• Minimum 7 years in DevOps practises
• Kong experience (or a comparable API platform) will be a bonus
• Knowledge of APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
• Highly experienced in containerised technologies(EKS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience building in the cloud
• Building CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting and automation (Nodejs preferred)
• Experience in Infrastructure as a Code
• Observability using Splunk and Dynatrace/ Newrelic

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in platform testing automation
