The Role

The Warehouse Team Member contributes towards the effective running of the Warehouse through coordination with our 3rd party warehouse provider and all relevant JB company policies and procedures. This role is based at our Warehouse in Mangere and reports to the Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the accurate receiving of stock including receipting of stock, logging any discrepancies, correctly administering delivery related paperwork, and liaising with suppliers.

Coordinating the picking and staging of stock for Customer Orders & Store Replenishment including ensuing stock is correctly labelled, consolidating any ‘transferred in’ small stock items, coordinating transport bookings of home deliveries, responding to store and/or customer enquiries regarding delivery related issues.

Coordinating of Bulky Goods Return Logistics and “Old Bulky Goods Appliances” recycling.

Perform stock counting / stock take duties as and when required.

Assistance in facilitating returns, exchanges and associated vendor claims for credit, damage allowance.

Adherence to all OH&S guidelines.

Data Entry.

Skills & Experience

Data Entry is a large portion of the responsibility and data entry skills are required to complete majority of tasks.

Flexibility to work weekends preferred.

Warehouse / Storeroom operational experience.
