Research Centre Coordinator (HEO6) and $82,879-$89,525 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term position for a period of 24 months

The School of Chemical Engineering is seeking to appoint a full-time administration professional to perform day-to day management tasks and coordinate the activities for our two ARC Centres of Excellence at the School of Chemical Engineering.

The Centre for Materials in Energy and Catalysis was established in 2018, as an extension of the School of Chemical Engineering with the vision to place the University of Adelaide as the leader of advanced materials for energy and catalysts research and development internationally. The Centre has grown significantly over the past few years and has established an opportunity for a Research Centre Coordinator.

To be successful you will need:  

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective and constructive administration support relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high-level verbal and interpersonal skills ensuring interactions are provided in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client-centric results.
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational and administrative skills, including a strong ability to prioritise, give excellent attention to detail and manage a high volume of tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to collate data and support analysis and reporting for measurement of progress and performance using a variety of software applications including the Microsoft Office Suite, online systems and databases.
  • Developed analytical and writing skills to enable the analysis of relevant information and data, the provision of high-quality written reports and the preparation/copy-editing of reports and communications.
