About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable Periodical Cleaner for a position based across commercial premises in Metro Adelaide. The primary hours of work will be between Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm with an occasional requirement for evening and weekend work. This is a rare opportunity for someone with leadership capability who enjoys taking pride in the cleaning standard of sites, with the autonomy to work independently and prepare periodical schedules. 

Your Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:

• Working in close conjunction with the Cleaning Supervisor to schedule all periodical cleaning tasks across the sites
• Liaising with the client
• Completing periodical cleaning schedules and worksheets
• Periodical cleaning / machine operation: polivac, walk behind sweeper / scrubber, high pressure washing, carpet cleaning, strip & seals
• Responsible for ongoing repairs & maintenance of all machinery

About you

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service, along with having the ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines set.

Essential requirements:

• Sound understanding of periodical cleaning & machine operation: Previous Periodical Cleaning experience; polivac, walk behind sweeper / scrubber, high pressure washing, carpet cleaning, strip & seals
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Responsible to work unsupervised
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and a champion of customer service
• Current DCSI Clearance (3 years) & National Police Clearance (12 months) or willing to obtain
• Available to primarily work Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm with occasional scheduled evening and weekend work
• Strong work ethic with outstanding time management skills
• High standard of work, cleanliness and attention to detail
