The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Hand to join our team on a casual basis. The hours available will be variable, with availability to work on weekends and public/school holidays.

The successful candidate will:

  • Following direction towards portion control, cooking standards and wastage.
  • Ensure all aspects of food preparation is according to company guidelines and customer preferences
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implements
  • Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning
  • Receive, store and distribute goods & equipment.
  • About You:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, or club kitchen
  • A working understanding of ‘Food Safety’ principles and workplace health and safety
  • Possess highly effective verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
