In this exciting and challenging opportunity as Senior Marketing Advisor – Civil Infrastructure”, you will be working under the direction of the leadership team and the Head of Clients and Marketing Australia. This is a relationship driven role for a motivated professional who can help drive strategies for positioning and growth, through brand profiling activities and pursuit positioning.

The Role

Working under the direction of the leadership teams of Civil Infrastructure (CI), and the Head of Clients and Marketing Australia, this is a relationship driven role for a professional who can help drive strategies for positioning and growth, through brand profiling activities and pursuit positioning internally and externally, across QLD, NT and WA (NWA).

In the role of Principal Marketing Advisor – Civil Infrastructure you will join the regional marketing team based in Brisbane to support the CI Leaders to develop and implement marketing plans to drive the position of the business with clients across a diverse project portfolio including the upcoming Brisbane Olympics.

This is a highly practical and delivery focused role, providing support, strategic positioning, external profiling, brand awareness and client engagement to our fast-paced project teams. You will work on a broad range of innovative marketing and business development initiatives to drive and deliver the business strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the group leaders to drive the positioning of the business with clients and influencer organisations in the region, ensuring they align with the ANZ strategic growth initiatives.

  • Track and communicate progress of marketing activities.

  • Partner with Client Account Managers to identify new opportunities and drive positioning activities for major pursuits.

  • Work closely with the leadership team and Head of Clients and Marketing Australia to identify business critical bids and support the development of capture plans.

  • Support the development of key client plans and client growth initiatives for identified key accounts.

  • Drive client care and client listening initiatives across the business

  • Report monthly on Clients and Marketing activities including pipeline work and key opportunities.

  • Champion and implement AECOMs agreed Clients & Marketing philosophy and systems including working with ANZ Creative team to ensure adherence to AECOM brand guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience in a B2B or professional services environment with demonstrated success in a similar Marketing or related role.

  • Ability to work closely with the leadership team and Head of Clients and Marketing Australia to identify business critical bids and support the development of capture plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships, gain trust, and support senior leaders in environments with pressing delivery schedules.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in writing, proofing and editing marketing and communications materials.

  • Strategic style thinker with hands-on approach, who can demonstrate good commercial and proposal outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in marketing or similar discipline.

  • Experience within the professional services, construction or infrastructure industries, advantageous.
