About the Position
As Associate Lecturer in Nursing , you will make a significant contribution to the School of Nursing’s teaching programs, primarily at undergraduate level, and engage in scholarly advancement of teaching to further enhance the profile and performance of the School. Teaching will involve online, on-campus and offshore delivery, and clinical teaching may also be required.

In this position you will use and develop on-line and flexible teaching and learning methods as the University is committed to increasing student access through the provision of both on-campus and off-campus (external) courses.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience in teaching

Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse

Demonstrated ability to design and develop learning resources and activities that engage learners and promote learning, with a particular focus on the use of web-based, interactive and digital technologies

The ability to contribute to the development of units/courses and student resources in response to reflective practice and application of scholarship (including for online and face-to-face teaching) and within the context and requirements of a quality education provider

Highly developed written communication skills, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport with internal and external partners

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $71,277 – $106,933 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $83,394 – $125,111 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
