Food Process Workers – Perth, Wa

Job Description

Our client is a leading company in the food service sector. They are currently looking for 50 processing hands to work in their facility based in Perth, WA 6163.

You will work a rotating roster which will include early morning starts of 2am, working 4-6 days per week including some weekends and public holidays. You will receive regular rostered days off which may fall on a weekend.

You will be paid under the Food Beverage Tobacco Manufacturing award – Level 1, above award at an hourly rate of $22.20 per hour and a 4 year full time contract with an average minimum of 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Performs repetitive work on automatic, semi-automatic or single purpose machine or equipment

Perform housekeeping duties

Perform basic test functions

Operate hand operated transport and lifting devices

Use selected hand tools

Assemble components using basic written, spoken and or diagrammatic instructions in an assembly environment

Measure accurately using gauges and records

Maintain simple records

Operate machinery that requires basic set up & fault -finding skills

Key Skills & Experience

Stand for long periods of time

Able to work in very cold environment

Repetitive work, lifting up to 20kg

Able to work weekends, public holidays
